From September 2, 2022, season 1 of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” will be available on Amazon Prime Video and is set to outshine the popular Game of Thrones. The story is set in the Second Age, well before the story as we know it from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogy.

Why is the Lord of the Rings saga so important?

J.R.R. Tolkien took the fantasy genre to a new level. In the mid-1950s, he created a world in Middle-earth that is still unparalleled today.
