In 1994, he celebrated a respectable success with the black comedy “Little Murders Among Friends”. The film brought him together with director Danny Boyle, which led to a fruitful collaboration.

Ewan McGregor then celebrated his international breakthrough under the direction of Danny Boyle. The film adaptation of the novel “Trainspotting – New Heroes”, about Scottish junkies, became a cult film of the 1990s. Ewan McGregor is now slipping into Jedi garb once again for the streaming provider Disney+. The series “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is set between the events of “Revenge of the Sith” and “A New Hope”.
